The Procedure

Before and After
Some things to remember before surgery:

• For one week, drink 8 glasses of water prior to having your procedures. Pigment is retained more easily in a well-hydrated skin.

• If you are using glycolic acid, retin-a, or alpha hydroxy discontinue eight days before the procedures.

Some things you should know about after your surgery:

• You may not donate blood for one year following permanent make-up procedures.

• Colors appear darker and unnatural looking for approximately five days and then lighten to a more natural look in the next few weeks.
